As an independent, trusted organization, attached to the University of Southampton, the Wolfson Unit is able to offer truly independent studies to industry, without any commercial conflicts.

The Unit also has access to the researchers in the University of Southampton with weather routing and AI expertise.

Research

As well as conducting consultancy, the Wolfson Unit undertakes research in this field. Recent examples include our participation in an Innovate UK Clean Maritime Demonstration Competition (CMDC) Round 4 as well as others. We can work with clients to develop research proposals as an academic partner due to our connection with the University of Southampton. These resources can be from within our team and stretch to the wider University Research community such as the Maritime group.
